How To Schedule

Useful Information Regarding Scheduling

Our staff will assist you in the scheduling of your initial visit. Your appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Root Canal Therapy, if the schedule permits can be performed the same day as the consultation but it is not guaranteed. However, there is also no guarantee the root canal can be completed in one visit. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you scheduled that same day, whenever possible.

When calling to schedule your appointment, our front desk staff will need just a few minutes of your time to gather your information for registration.

Please Have the Following Information Available When Calling to Schedule Your Appointment

  • Name of referring doctor
  • Tooth number or area
  • Dental insurance information (if applicable)
  • Name of insurance company
  • Group number / employer

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

IMPORTANT!

A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 at all visits.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e antibiotics, for pre-med.)

X-Rays

We will be taking an X-ray at your initial visit. If treatment is rendered, please expect a few additional X-rays to be taken.

Fees only apply to X-rays for consultation appointments. If treatment is rendered, fees do not apply. If your dentist has taken recent X-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office as an adjunct to our exam. However, please understand we will still need to take our own X-rays to properly assess and diagnose you at our office.

RGV Endodontics, LLP will do their absolute best to minimize your waiting time on the day of your appointment. However, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for each procedure and emergency cases can also occur and create possible delays. Your patience and understanding are always appreciated.
